OUR CLASSES

Dream Dogs Training Center Classes include puppy classes, obedience classes, agility classes, workshops, and more. Our classes work at your dog’s pace and moving to the next level is based on demonstrated mastery of the behaviors. Get your puppy off on the right track by starting early with socialization and basic manners. Our basic obedience courses eventually lead to therapy dog training so we are confident that doing your homework and being patient with your dog leads to the best success for both of you. Our agility classes are meant to be fun, exciting and enjoyable for everyone! Our workshops will be featuring instructors and trainers from around the world.

Agility

Agility is one of the fastest growing sports, not only to compete in, but to watch as you will see more and more of the national events televised on Fox, ESPN, and others.  These handlers all started somewhere and Dream Dogs Training Center will be the place for anyone who wants to learn the game, no mater what level you wish to achieve.  Agility is a team sport where the handler (you) and your partner (your dog) work your way through a course that is filled with jumps, tunnels, weave poles and various ‘contact’ equipment like the see-saw and A-Frame.  From basic learning and foundation skills to master level and competition ambitions, we will have the trainers to help you learn, and most of all have fun throughout your journey.

Puppy Classes

Dream Dogs Training Center will help you and your new puppy get off to a great start in life by helping you understand the most effective and beneficial ways of training using positive reinforcement and encouragement.  Learning those basic skills will set you both on the right path for a well behaved companion that will last a lifetime.

Obedience and Rally

From a basic ‘sit and stay’ to the highest level of competition Obedience, Dream Dogs Training Center will help you from the very start.  Obedience is one of the best ways to build a strong connection and focus with your dog.  Our instructors have many years teaching and also achieving high levels in the competition ring.  They will help guide you and help you achieve the goals that you set for yourself and your dog.  Obedience is the foundation for so many other fun dog sports such as agility, trick dog training, and even therapy work and it’s also a lot of fun!

Scent Work & Nose Work

It is a well known fact that dogs have a very keen sense of smell, and these classes are designed to encourage your dog to find specific odors that are hidden or buried, then to alert their handler that they have discovered it. Dogs love it and the best part is even your older dogs who still want to have fun and learn can do it easily (and so can their owners).  Essential oils such as Birch, and Clove are often used, and some classes will even teach them to search for a stinky sock of yours.  Scent Work is also growing in popularity since and it is a great way to keep your dog engaged with you.
